Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation

DAF Day, a national day of giving with donor-advised funds (DAF), was held earlier this month on October 9, and countless donors nationwide joined in to show the world the power of DAFs when we all give together. Some even showed their love for Texas’ wild things and wild by making generous grant recommendations to TPWF, ensuring we can continue our work to keep Texas wild.

Want to make a wild impact by supporting TPWF through your DAF? Just follow these steps:

  • Access your DAF platform
  • Search for TPWF by entering our Tax ID: 74-2602504 -or- our legal name: Parks and Wildlife Foundation of Texas (dba Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation)
  • Select your gift amount
  • Submit your grant recommendation

When you support TPWF, you become a vital partner in our longstanding mission to conserve the wild things and wild places that make Texas so uniquely Texas. Our far-reaching projects, programs, and partnerships address the full range of conservation challenges and opportunities present in our state, from the sandy shores of our Gulf to the foothills of our West Texas mountains, and the many miles in between.

Don’t have a DAF? It’s a great way to invest in giving—just like a 401k for your retirement. You can contribute cash, stocks, or other assets, get the tax deduction up front, and then recommend grants to organizations like TPWF when you’re ready. You can even establish a DAF at TPWF. DAFs are a great way to plan and simplify giving.
