The Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation has successfully raised private funding for many conservation and capital projects since 1991. For some of those projects, the Foundation has also served as building contractor, real estate assistant, banker, investor and custodian. For others, the Foundation designed and implemented signature project for and with funding partners to accomplish mutual conservation goals. For the most part, however, the Foundation has raised funds, $80 million in fact, to supplement and facilitate conservation projects conducted by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department
